Ingredients
  

For the Salmon Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar Light or dark, whichever is in your cabinet
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika Regular's fine, but smoked adds the wow factor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 zest lemon Don't skip, it really makes a difference
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon coarse black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Get out a bowl and toss in all the ingredients.
  2. Quick stir to combine, then store leftovers in an airtight jar or sprinkle all over your salmon.

Notes

Pat your salmon dry before applying the seasoning. For high heat cooking, use enough oil to prevent sticking.
