Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Steak (sirloin, ribeye, or preferred) Avoid super tough cuts.
  • 8 oz Pasta (fettuccine, penne, or preferred) Choose your favorite pasta shape.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Add more if you love sauce.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Chopped.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Use pre-grated or fresh.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For cooking the steak.
  • 1 tbsp Butter For added flavor in the pan.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Herbs (parsley, basil, oregano) Optional for flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta.
  2. While the water is heating, season the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan.
  4. Sear the steak on both sides until brown and crusty.
  5. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest.
Cooking
  1. Cook the pasta in the boiling water until al dente.
  2. Add chopped garlic to the pan and stir until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a bubble, and scrape up steak bits.
  4. Whisk in Parmesan cheese, adjust seasoning with salt if needed.
  5. Slice the rested steak and add to the creamy sauce.
  6. Drain the pasta and toss it into the sauce. Add pasta water if sauce is too thick.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs or cheese if desired.

Notes

For best results, let steak rest before cutting. You can add vegetables like mushrooms or spinach. Pair with garlic bread or a side salad.
