Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a casserole dish, arrange the steamed broccoli at the bottom.
- Top the broccoli with the shredded chicken.
- In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, and garlic powder.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli layers.
- Sprinkle additional shredded cheddar cheese and crushed Ritz crackers on top if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
This casserole can be made ahead and stored in the fridge unbaked for 24 hours or frozen before baking. If frozen, add extra baking time. Let it rest for five minutes after baking for best texture.
