Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix until blended and sticky.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the chicken mixture into a thin circle, about 1/4-inch thick.
Baking the crust
- Bake the chicken crust for 20 minutes, until golden around the edges.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread your favorite sauce on top. Sprinkle cheese and any other desired toppings.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
Notes
To ensure a crispy crust, remove excess liquid from ground chicken and optionally sprinkle more Parmesan on the crust before baking. Leftovers can be reheated easily.
