Ingredients
  

For the chicken crust
  • 1 lb Ground chicken Can use leftover chicken breast.
  • 1 large Egg Helps hold the crust together.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese For flavor and binding.
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
For toppings
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce Use your favorite sauce.
  • 1 cup Cheese Any type you like.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix until blended and sticky.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the chicken mixture into a thin circle, about 1/4-inch thick.
Baking the crust
  1. Bake the chicken crust for 20 minutes, until golden around the edges.
  2. Remove the crust from the oven and spread your favorite sauce on top. Sprinkle cheese and any other desired toppings.
  3. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese melts.

Notes

To ensure a crispy crust, remove excess liquid from ground chicken and optionally sprinkle more Parmesan on the crust before baking. Leftovers can be reheated easily.
