Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts or thighs Thighs are juicier and cheaper.
  • 4 cups Broccoli Fresh or frozen can be used.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For cooking chicken.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Optional, for flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Optional, for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Dice the chicken breasts or thighs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until golden.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the broccoli.
Cooking
  1. If using fresh broccoli, add it to the pan with a splash of water.
  2. Cover the pan to let the broccoli steam.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, and soy sauce if desired.
  4. Cook for about 5-10 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, optionally with rice or in a wrap.

Notes

Frozen broccoli can be used for convenience. For a creamier dish, add cream cheese or a splash of milk at the end. This dish can be varied with different vegetables or sauces according to preference.
