Preparation
- Marinate your chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes. Overnight is great if you can plan ahead.
- Mix flour, panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a big bowl.
- Dip the marinated chicken in the flour-panko mix, ensuring they're well coated.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a skillet and fry the chicken until golden, about 3 minutes per side. Do not wander off!
Assembly
- Mix coleslaw with mayo, sweet chili sauce, and hot sauce, adjusting spice levels to your liking.
- Slice the slider buns, place a piece of cooked chicken on the bottom, top with a spoonful of slaw, sprinkle green onion, and place the top bun.
- Serve on a platter and enjoy as guests grab their sliders.
Notes
If you want to bake the chicken instead of frying, bake at 425°F for about 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway. They won't be quite as crispy.
